An item that draws a lot of attention while traveling is the camera clip from Peak Design.

The "Capture Clip" (as it is officially called) is a versatile camera clip that is used to attach your camera to your backpack, strap, or belt. We always use it on our backpack. Especially on hikes, it's safer to have both hands free. The camera is securely held.

The perfect blend of a camera bag and a hipster bag comes from Patagonia. Officially, this bag is marketed as a waist bag, although I do not use it for that purpose.

If you don't have a camera, it can also be used as a regular shoulder bag. For me, it serves both purposes.

Many photographers now own a mirrorless system camera. When changing lenses, it is unavoidable for dust to get on the lenses or the sensor. The result is irritating sensor spots that are difficult to retouch.

Many are hesitant to clean their sensor themselves. I took the plunge and am very happy with the result. A top tip for photographers as a gift idea.

We clean lenses with the Lens Pen in combination with a Rocket-Air blower (next tip). This one is high quality. Don't buy a cheap Lens Pen, as the top layer often comes off. Not good.

I don't know any photographer who doesn't own a blower. You reach for it first when there is dust on the lens or sensor.

We always take the small Instax Fuji cameras and printers with us when we travel. Small souvenirs for people as gifts are always well-received.
