Hawaii (also known as Hawai'i or Mokupuni o Hawai'i) is an archipelago in the Pacific Ocean. It has been the 50th state of the USA since 1959.

The archipelago consists of eight main islands, of which only six are accessible to tourists: Big Island of Hawai'i, O'ahu, Maui, Kaua'i, Moloka'i, and Lana'i. We visited the first four, flew over Molokai by helicopter, and unfortunately did not have time for Lanai. There must be a reason to return at some point.

Incidentally, Hawaii is also classified as part of the South Sea Islands.

If you only have two weeks, you can only see 1 to 2 islands and must account for the long travel time of one day each way. Therefore, the ideal travel duration is 1 week per island. Which is the most beautiful island in Hawaii? My answer is Kauai. It depends on what you enjoy doing. Kauai is the most beautiful island in Hawaii for hiking. For surfing, Oahu (North Shore) and Maui are the most beautiful islands. For active volcanoes, Big Island, and for a mix of everything, Maui is the most beautiful island in Hawaii.
How safe is Hawaii? Generally, safety in Hawaii is above the US standard. However, more and more homeless people are being brought to the islands of Hawaii from the mainland by states offering flight tickets. Thus, the number of homeless and impoverished individuals is also rising here. Moreover, Hawaii has high safety standards. There was security at residential complexes and hotels. I've never felt unsafe.
Which island in Hawaii has the most beautiful beaches? You will find stunning beaches on every island. Overall, Oahu and Maui have by far the most dreamlike beaches. However, we also found beautiful beaches on Big Island and Kauai.
